The German automaker is prepping up Porsche 718 Cayman GTS and the 718 Boxster GTS, and both these hardcore automobiles are likely to debut later this year.
Both the new Cayman GTS and the Boxster GTS are expected to carry a revised 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four cylinder engine, which will develop about 375 horsepower. Similar to the previous GTS model, the new Porsche 718 Cayman GTS and the Boxster GTS will be equipped with the Porsche Active Suspension Management dampers.
The automaker has already started the process of testing the two cars at Nurburgring. Styling cues include a new front bumper, light-weight alloy wheels and a twin-central exhaust system.
On the inside, the 718 Cayman GTS and the Boxster GTS are expected to feature sport-inspired elements such as sport seats, sports steering wheel and sports pedals.
Porsche has not unveiled any information regarding the price, but since the current 718 Boxster S is priced at $57,400, the hardcore GTS model will definitely cost higher than that.
Sources suggest the Cayman GTS and the Boxster GTS will be officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show in November. We can expect it to debut in the Middle East sometime in 2018.
