Audi will be continuing with its SUV winning streak with the launch of the all new Audi Q5, Audi Q2 successor in 2016. The addition of Audi Q5, Audi Q2 marks the company’s intention to continue with high investment coupled with effective cost control methods.

The Audi Q5 debuted in 2008 and underwent a makeover in 2012. The 2016 model is expected to be similar in size and style, but would feature some modifications to stay on top of its competitors, which include the Mercedes GLC, BMW X3 and Porsche Macan.

The latest addition to the Audi crossover line-up will be the Audi Q2 – the launch of which is expected to expand the Audi’s market share by targeting the compact vehicle consumers. Audi has yet to reveal details on its new offering, but it is expected to be smaller than the existing Q3 to compete with the likes of Mini Countryman.

Audi’s journey in the crossover market started in 2005 with the Q7 and since then has seen rapid leaps with consistent additions to the lineup including the Q5 in 2008 and Q3 in 2011.
