The 2024 Kia Telluride is set to be released at a slightly higher price range for its various models. Starting from $37,355 (inclusive of the $1,365 destination charge), the base LX model will be available with front-wheel drive. On the other end, the SX-Prestige X-Pro trim, priced at $54,550, represents the top-tier option. Limited inventory is expected for the 2024 Telluride, which will hit the market this month.

According to Kia, the 2024 Telluride has undergone subtle design updates to enhance its appearance with a blend of toughness and elegance. However, these modifications may not be immediately apparent. Kia has introduced amber daytime running lights to all models of the SUV. In the case of the X-Line and X-Pro trims, the company has replaced the previous dark metallic trim on various parts such as the bumpers, lower door garnish, grille surround, and headlight bezels, opting for a sleek black gloss finish instead.

Price

Kia highlights that there is a mere $100 hike in the base Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2024 Telluride when compared to its 2023 counterpart. This statement holds true, as Kia advertises the LX variant of the current model year as commencing at $37,225. Nevertheless, during the course of the 2023 model year, the price of the Telluride gradually rose, coinciding with Kia’s decision to raise the destination charge by $30.

In 2023, the Telluride was initially available for purchase at a price of $37,025, encompassing the former $1,335 destination fee. As for the 2024 edition, it carries a slightly higher cost, amounting to $300 more. The 2024 SX-Prestige X-Pro variant is priced $200 higher than the current 2023 version and $430 higher compared to the original 2023 price. The price for the ongoing Telluride in the UAE starts at AED 127,900.

Kia made some notable enhancements to the three-row SUV for the 2023 version. The headlights now come with standard LEDs, and the front bumper received updates. Additionally, Kia refreshed the “Tiger Nose” grille with a contrasting black mesh. In the previous year, the company introduced the X-line and X-Pro trims to the model, providing the SUV with slight off-road improvements, including a 0.4-inch increase in ride height and various other upgrades.

Powertrain

The 2024 Telluride model maintains consistency with its powertrain, employing the identical 3.8-litre V6 engine introduced in 2020. Its power capabilities remain unchanged, generating 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This power is seamlessly transmitted to the wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel Economy

The 2024 Telluride achieves an estimated fuel efficiency of 20 miles per gallon in urban areas, 26 mpg on highways, and a combined 22 mpg for its front-wheel-drive variants.
