The 2021 RAM 1500 TRX is introduced with appropriate off-road features and a Hellcat 6.2L supercharged V-8 good for 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Before launching the standard TRX, the automaker is offering the Launch Edition for a whopping $92,010 (the regular version starts at $71,690), limited to just 702 examples.
The premium on the standard model gives buyers extra goodies like carbon-fiber interior trim, red accent stitching, a head-up display, beadlock-capable wheels, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, body graphics, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
The 2021 RAM 1500 TRX Launch Edition will sport a distinct exterior color called Anvil Gray. An aluminum plaque on the center console describes, it is Launch Edition along with its VIN and horsepower rating.
RAM will use its Fiat Chrysler Automobiles‘ Sterling Heights Assembly Plant situated north of Detroit to create the truck by the end of this year. The deliveries will start in the last quarter of this year.
With this monster truck, the supremacy of F-150 Raptor is justly challenged, but Ford is ready to defy through its redesigned Raptor, which may come equipped with the Mustang Shelby GT500’s 5.2L supercharged V-8, possibly creating 760 hp.
