The American automaker is working on to bring new sedan models – the CT4 and the CT5. We have just received pricing details of the 2020 Cadillac CT5 mid-size sedan. Gladly, the new sedan is offering more bang for your bucks with prices starting from $37,890 (including destination). Comparing it to its rival, the BMW 3-Series, it is more than 3K cheaper and is more significant in length too (8 inches to be exact).
The 2020 Cadillac CT5 will be available in three variants, namely Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. The Premium and Sport cost $41,690 and $42,690 respectively.
Regarding the specs, the new CT5 comes with lots of standard features including a 10-speed automatic, 10-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment, a rearview camera, and forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking. The base model carries a 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 creating 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The power goes to the rear wheels. The all-wheel option will set you $2,600 back. The available 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6, digital instrument cluster, and Super Cruise are not priced yet.
Talking about the prices of the performance versions of the 2020 Cadillac CT5, the automaker did not reveal them yet. The CT5-V will carry a 3.0L twin-turbo V6 generating about 355 hp and 400 lb-ft. On the other hand, the CT5-V “plus,” is likely to carry a 4.2L twin-turbo V8 with more than 500 hp.
The new 2020 CT5 is under construction at General Motors’ Lansing Grand River Assembly plant. We hope Cadillac will present this luxury sedan in the UAE soon after its global launch.
