The design team had to ensure that the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox could be parked and maneuvered easily as well as offer ample interior space. Thus, the overall length of the SUV was reduced by 119 millimeters. Moreover, it was tested for 500 hours in a full-scale wind tunnel. The new design rendered a 10 percent reduction in the wind resistance compared to the previous model. Also, the 2018 Equinox has the capability to alter its aerodynamics depending on the situation.
The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox also features a number of latest safety amenities including Safety Alert Seat, Forward Collison Alert with following Distance Indicator and more. The SUV is now on sale in the Middle East with a starting price of about AED 80,900.
